Before the operation

Once your treatment plan has been established, we will guide you thoroughly through the entire preparation process leading up to your surgery day. You will receive instructions on areas such as medication, supplements, smoking, fasting, and practical planning at home, as your body will need rest and supportive surroundings after the operation.

On the day of surgery, you will be welcomed by our team, where you will meet your nurse, anesthesiologist, and surgeon. The treatment areas will be carefully marked, and the full surgical plan will be reviewed with you one final time, so you feel reassured, informed, and well prepared.

During the operation

The operation is performed under full anesthesia and is always tailored individually based on the procedures included in your treatment plan. Depending on your wishes and anatomy, the surgery may include breast lift, breast augmentation, removal or replacement of implants, tummy tuck, and liposuction.

By combining several procedures in one operation, you benefit from a single recovery period and a more harmonious overall result. Throughout the procedure, the surgeon works with great precision and focuses on proportions, symmetry, and natural transitions between the body’s contours.

Once the operation is complete, the incisions are carefully closed, and compression garments, a supportive bra, or dressings are applied, depending on the areas treated.

After the surgery

After the operation, you will be monitored by our staff until you are ready to go home or, in some cases, stay overnight for observation, depending on the extent of the surgery. It is completely normal to experience tiredness, swelling, tightness, and soreness during the first few days, as the body is working intensively to heal several areas at the same time.

The initial period requires rest, support, and patience. We recommend light movement from the beginning to support blood circulation, while also protecting the body from lifting, strain, and physical activity during the first phase. You will receive detailed guidance on compression, pain management, sleeping position, and gradually returning to everyday life.

The result will develop gradually over the coming months as the swelling subsides and the tissue settles into its new balance. Throughout the entire process, you will be closely followed by our team, so you always feel safe and well supported during your healing journey.

Medical tattooing for scars and nipple Reconstruction

We collaborate with Medicinsk Tatovering, specialists in medical tattooing for scar camouflage and nipple-areola reconstruction following breast surgery. Treatments are available in Ringsted, with consultations and treatments also offered in Albertslund every other week. As a Caolín patient, you receive a 10% discount when you inform them that you had your surgery with us.
