Dr. Martin Glud is a board-certified specialist in dermatology and venereology and serves as a Consultant Dermatologist at the Department of Dermatology, Bispebjerg Hospital, Copenhagen, where he holds overall responsibility for the treatment of patients with skin cancer. He is considered as one of Scandinavia’s leading specialists in dermatology and venereology, with particular expertise in skincancer.

He holds a PhD in malignant melanoma and remains actively involved in research within the field of skin cancer. Throughout his career, he has authored numerous scientific publications in both national and international peer-reviewed journals.

Martin has more than 25 years of clinical experience from highly specialized hospital
departments, including the Department of Plastic Surgery and Burns Treatment at Rigshospitalet (Copenhagen University Hospital) and Bispebjerg Hospital. This background has provided him with extensive expertise in cutaneous surgery and reconstruction, as well as a comprehensive understanding of skin anatomy, function, and wound healing. He currently runs a specialized skin cancer clinic and has particular expertise in the surgical management of skin cancer, including Mohs micrographic surgery.

In addition, Martin has formerly as a Clinical Associate Professor (Clinical Lecturer) at the University of Copenhagen, where he teaches medical students in dermatology and venereology.
