Before the operation

Before the surgery, you will receive thorough guidance regarding medication, supplements, smoking, and fasting. These factors are important for both the safety of the procedure and your body’s ability to heal.

On the day of surgery, you will be welcomed by our team, and the surgeon will carefully mark the treatment area to ensure that the procedure is precisely tailored to your anatomy.

During the operation

The surgery is performed under general anaesthesia and typically takes between one and a half and two and a half hours, depending on the extent of the procedure.

During surgery, excess skin and tissue are removed, and in some cases the procedure is combined with liposuction to create a smoother and more harmonious contour. If necessary, temporary drains may be placed to support the healing process.

After the surgery

After the surgery, you will be monitored by our staff until you are ready to go home. It is normal to experience swelling, tenderness, and tightness in the arms during the initial recovery period.

We recommend rest, gentle movement, and avoiding strain on the arms during the first phase of recovery. Your body needs time to heal, and the final result will develop gradually over the following months.

Medical tattooing for scars and nipple Reconstruction

We collaborate with Medicinsk Tatovering, specialists in medical tattooing for scar camouflage and nipple-areola reconstruction following breast surgery. Treatments are available in Ringsted, with consultations and treatments also offered in Albertslund every other week. As a Caolín patient, you receive a 10% discount when you inform them that you had your surgery with us.
