Reduce visible blood vessels and achieve more even-looking skin
Thread veins can have several causes and can appear on the face, chest and legs, among other places. Some people see them as a natural part of how their skin changes over time, while others want to reduce them for cosmetic reasons.
Thread vein treatment uses targeted energy that acts on the visible blood vessels without damaging the surrounding tissue. The body then gradually breaks down the treated vessels, so they become less visible.
The right treatment depends on factors such as the size, colour and location of the blood vessels and the character of your skin. That is why we always assess your skin individually and recommend the treatment that suits you best.
The result develops gradually, and some thread veins may need several treatments to achieve the desired result.

Good to know
If there's anything you can't find an answer to, bring it along to your free consultation.
Thread veins are small, dilated blood vessels that lie close to the surface of the skin and therefore become visible. They may appear, for example, as fine red or bluish vessels.
There can be several causes. Genetics, age, hormonal changes, sun exposure and natural changes in the skin are among the factors that can play a role.
It depends on the type of blood vessels, their size and their location. At the consultation, we assess your thread veins and advise you on the most suitable treatment.
It varies from person to person. Some thread veins become significantly less visible after one treatment, while others require several treatments.
Most people experience only brief discomfort during the treatment. Exactly how it feels depends on factors such as the treatment area and the method chosen.
The process
We start with a consultation where we examine your thread veins and assess the condition of your skin, the area and the type of blood vessels.
The chosen treatment is targeted precisely at the visible blood vessels. The energy is directed at the blood vessels, while the surrounding tissue is spared as much as possible.
Your skin may be slightly red or swollen immediately after the treatment. This usually fades quickly, and you can generally return to your normal activities.
The treated blood vessels are gradually broken down by the body, so the result becomes more visible over time. If needed, further treatments are planned to optimise the result.
Your journey begins with a personal consultation. Here we go through your wishes and options, so that together we can create a treatment plan that feels right for you.
