Every filler treatment at Caolín starts with a thorough, personal consultation. Here we take the time to understand your wishes, your facial features and the change you would like to achieve. Among other things, your practitioner assesses the quality of your skin, the proportions of your face, the volume of the tissue and your natural facial expression in order to plan the treatment that suits you best.

Whether you want more fullness in the lips, more defined cheekbones, a softer jawline or general volume building, the aim is always to create a result that feels natural and balanced. We also go through realistic expectations, longevity and any options for combining it with other treatments, so you feel fully informed and reassured before the treatment begins.

The treatment itself typically takes between 30 and 45 minutes, depending on which areas are being treated and how much product is used. The area is cleansed thoroughly, and in some cases a numbing cream is used to increase comfort during the treatment. The filler is then injected with a very fine needle or cannula into the selected areas with great precision.

The hyaluronic acid acts as a natural filling substance that adds volume, hydration and structure to the tissue while supporting the skin's own contours. Most people feel only mild discomfort during the treatment, and the whole process is gentle and straightforward. Our focus is always precision, symmetry and a result that looks natural from every angle.

After the treatment, you can usually return straight to your daily activities. It is normal to experience mild swelling, tenderness, redness or minor bruising in the treated area during the first few days. These reactions are completely natural and typically fade quickly.

To give healing the best possible conditions and ensure a beautiful result, we recommend that you avoid strenuous physical activity, saunas, sunbathing and pressure on the area for the first 24 hours after the treatment. We always send you home with thorough guidance, so you feel reassured in the time that follows, and we are of course available if you have any questions.

One of the advantages of filler is that the result can be seen straight away. However, the final result can only be fully assessed after about 10 to 14 days, once any swelling has settled and the product has integrated naturally into the tissue.

The result is often experienced as more defined contours, softer transitions and a fresher, more youthful expression. Longevity is typically between 6 and 8 months, depending on the treatment area, choice of product, metabolism and individual factors. With regular maintenance, many people find the results become more stable and longer-lasting over time.
