Your treatment plan
Every treatment at Caolín starts with a thorough, personal consultation. Here we assess the quality of your skin, its hydration level, elasticity and any sensitivity to make sure DNA Rejuvenation is the right treatment for you.
The indication for treatment must be established at least 48 hours before the first treatment.
The treatment is particularly suitable for skin with early signs of ageing, dryness, irritation or a need for deeper regeneration. Together we go through your wishes, the treatment areas and the results that can realistically be achieved, so you feel reassured and well informed throughout.

The treatment
If you would like anaesthesia, please arrive 15-20 minutes before your appointment time. Numbing cream will then be applied to the area to be treated.
The treatment itself is carried out with very fine injections into the selected areas and typically takes between 20 and 30 minutes. The polynucleotides work deep in the tissue, where they support the skin's own repair mechanisms and stimulate the production of collagen and elastin.
Most people find the treatment gentle, with only mild discomfort, and it can be used on the face, neck and décolletage as well as delicate areas such as the skin under the eyes. The treatment also has an anti-inflammatory effect.

After the treatment
Immediately after the injection there will typically be small swellings/papules in the skin where the product has been placed, which settle as the product distributes in the tissue.
After the treatment there may be mild redness, swelling or minor bruising at the injection sites. These reactions are to be expected and usually subside within 24-48 hours.
You should avoid strenuous exercise, saunas, steam rooms, touching the area and make-up for the first 4 hours after the treatment.
