Botox is one of the world's most well-documented cosmetic treatments for fine lines, expression lines and tension in the facial muscles. Over time, repeated facial movements can leave lines in the skin and give a more tired, worried or tense expression – even when that doesn't reflect how you feel. Botox can soften these lines and create a more relaxed, harmonious expression while preserving the natural expressiveness of your face.
At Caolín, we always take a holistic aesthetic approach, where the aim is not to change your features but to enhance them with precision, balance and respect for your natural anatomy.

Good to know
If there's anything you can't find an answer to, bring it along to your free consultation.
The treatment itself is quick and gentle, typically taking between 10 and 20 minutes, depending on which areas are being treated.
Botox is injected using very fine needles, and most people feel only a slight prick or brief discomfort. The treatment usually requires no anaesthesia.
The first changes often start to appear after 3 to 5 days, while the full effect typically develops within 12 to 14 days.
The effect usually lasts between 3 and 6 months, depending on the treatment area, muscle activity and individual factors. With regular maintenance, many people find that the result becomes more stable over time.
Mild redness, slight swelling or tenderness around the injection sites is normal in the first few hours. We recommend that you avoid strenuous physical activity, massaging the area and lying flat for the first few hours after the treatment.
The process
Your journey always begins with a thorough consultation, where we take the time to get to know you, your facial features and your wishes. Among other things, we assess muscle activity, facial expression, skin quality and the natural balance of your face to make sure the treatment is tailored precisely to you.
We also discuss which areas could benefit from treatment, what can realistically be achieved, and how the result can best complement your natural features. In some cases, combining it with other treatments can create an even more harmonious result, but we never recommend more than what makes sense for you.
The treatment itself is quick and gentle, typically taking between 10 and 20 minutes, depending on which areas are being treated. Botox is injected with very fine needles into selected muscles, where it temporarily reduces muscle activity and so softens the lines caused by repeated facial movements. Most people feel only a slight prick or brief discomfort, and the treatment usually requires no anaesthesia. There is no real recovery time, which is why many people choose to fit the treatment into a busy everyday life.
Throughout the treatment, we work with great precision and respect for the natural movement of your face, so the result is harmonious and never stiff or overdone.
After the treatment, you can usually return straight to your daily activities. Mild redness, slight swelling or tenderness around the injection sites is normal in the first few hours. These reactions typically fade quickly and are a natural part of your body's response.
To ensure the best possible result, we recommend that you avoid strenuous physical activity, massaging the area and lying flat for the first few hours after the treatment. You will of course go home with thorough aftercare advice, so you feel reassured in the time that follows.
