The process always starts with a thorough consultation, where we take the time to get to know you, your facial features and your wishes. We assess things such as muscle activity, facial expression, skin quality and the natural balance of your face to make sure the treatment is tailored precisely to you.
The treatment itself is quick and gentle and typically takes between 10 and 20 minutes, depending on which areas are treated. Most people feel only a slight prick or brief discomfort, and the treatment usually requires no anaesthetic.
After the treatment you can usually return straight to your daily activities. It is normal to experience slight redness, small swellings or tenderness around the injection sites for the first few hours. We recommend that you avoid strenuous physical activity, massaging the area and lying flat for the first few hours after the treatment.
The first changes often begin to show after 3 to 5 days, while the full effect typically develops within 10 to 14 days. The effect usually lasts between 3 and 6 months, depending on the treatment area, muscle activity and individual factors.
